BioThe most important thing in my life, and what I am most passionate about is music. Whether it be punk or jazz or anything in between it is the brush with which the images of my life are painted. I love going to concerts and finding out about great new bands.
I was a PhD student at the University of Florida studying statistics. I left school in May 2006 to take a (likely permanent) break from academia and work. I ended up getting a job at Google and moving out to the Bay Area. My primary interests in statistics are practical applications of spatial statistics, mixed models, and non-parametric methods.
